Talent Tree Guide

The talent tree lets you improve generals, explorers, and geologists using books. Higher tiers require rarer books.

Each specialist (general, explorer, geologist) has their own talent tree with 5 tiers. Talents are unlocked with books:

Path through the talent tree Talent tree explanation

Tier 1ManuscriptsCommon
Tier 2–3CompendiumsRare
Tier 4–5CodicesEpic

Skills improve various aspects: combat stats (generals), loot amount (explorers/geologists), search duration, XP bonus, and more.

Bookbinder (from level 15)

The main building for book production. Produces from raw materials at different speeds depending on level:

Book Resources Production time (level 1)
Manuscript Softwood planks, ink 4 hrs
Tome Hardwood planks, ink, leather 8 hrs
Codex Tropical wood planks, ink, leather, gold 16 hrs
